The Charles Company, Block 36 Finalist, proposes to build a thriving city center with sports, shopping, family recreation, housing, restaurants, and a bustling nightlife!
In November, the City of Azusa requested proposals for a mixed use development opportunity on the southeast corner of East Foothill Boulevard and North Azusa Avenue in Downtown Azusa (“Block 36”).
The Charles Company proposal to build a Family Entertainment and Bowling Center in Downtown Azusa has been selected, along with a proposal by Laemmle Theatres as finalists by the Azusa City Council.SUPPORT US!
With four other theatres already in the area, including the Laemmle Claremont, the City of Azusa demographics do not support building another cinema. In contrast, The Charles Company proposal will bring a variety of sport, family entertainment and nightlife options to Azusa’s diverse community.
The full service Family Entertainment Center will consist of:
- a Multi-lane Bowling Center
- Full Service Restaurant including a Full Service Late Night Bar
- State of the Art Arcade
- Laser Tag.
